Emma Rawson

After 16 years working as an art teacher in schools and colleges I am now following a new direction as a studio glass artist, I specialize in kiln cast and printed glass and explore ideas relating to objects and the domestic space. I investigate how we use objects and the spaces they occupy to connect us to the material and emotional world. I also explore a fascination with the sea and coastline. I love to solve the practical making problems that arise from working with glass as a medium.
